Our Heritage
Kamba Benga is unmistakable — high-tempo guitar rhythms and storytelling that has captivated Kenya since the 1970s. Pioneers like Kakai Kilonzo (Kilimambogo Brothers), Peter Muambi (Kyanganga Boys), David Kasyoki (Katitu Boys), and Joseph Mutaiti (Kalambya Boys) laid the foundation. Today, artists like Alex Kasau Katombi, Ken wa Maria, Maima, and Maxwell Mwalimu carry the torch.
